Ma joie est comme le printemps:)

Our view get's focused in far off distance here in Bhutan....

These are my last days here with Tho in Bhutan before coming back end of september,

I will be joining my friends and colleagues of Eurasia and Tinh Triuc Gia in Hue, Vietnam very soon,

Lot's of good work awaits me there...a new Kindergarden project, new constructions, presentation of bio-dynamic agriculture to the FAO...organizing our next training course..., meeting authorities etc

I hope I can keep some of this "wide view" and "distance"one develops here in Bhutan!

Whenever one looks up, far off in a distance you find an eagle flying, a far off monastery, prayer flags, a white peak, a rainbow...a monk sitting alone in meditation up at 3000M altitude...

Actually I am not so much used not to carry responsability and not to look at the detail...not to get busy and active right away..I am learning this here,

Of course I help Tho a bit, but actually I have a lot of time to look up high in far distance...and to look.... inside in far distance...

I am reading Pema Chödron's book : "when things fall apart", a book I always wanted to read, but never found the right "spirit moment" to do so.

Tho's coming here of course shakes up our routine and it is helpful to be reminded to savor these moments "when things fall apart"

Tho looks so much younger ! I think it is the courage to stay in this "unknown"and refreshing "beginning anew"

I asked myself yesterday, I am happy ?

I had a lovely skype with my daughter yesterday, who just came back from 2 weeks hollidays with her family. Everyone is well, healthy and happy, My son too sent a great message that he is enjoying living in our house in Switzerland that he called a "haven of peace!"

I will see my eldest granddaughter soon:)

I see Tho happy with all these new challenges,

My happiness and their happiness is ONE!

But then I remembered some difficult times no so long ago, illness, worries, all of lifes "passing show"and I wondered was I less happy...

I remembered the insight poem I wrote for Thay some years ago:

A tear from the ocean of suffering fell into my hand

Looking deeply into this tear

I found a precious jewel

Looking deeply into this jewel

I found an open heart

Looking deeply into this heart

I found a path

Walking this path

I found the Ocean

Embracing it ALL

Sending you my happy smile:)

May be our next hike? Another monastery high up...
A sweet wild mountain goat:)

Some hermitage we crossed on our way
